As you know, Apple introduced today iTunes 10. During the keynote I tweeted, saying that all jailbreakers and unlockers shouldnt updated right now. And everybody was asking why. The answer is simple: once your are jailbroken, you never update to new releases until the iCommunity gives you a green light. Fortunately, iTunes 10 is safe for all jailbreakers and unlockers ( DFU mode, syncing, selecting IPSW, all okay ), and it comes with the following changes:

the new itunes logo is BUTT UGLY!!! for those of you mac users who want to switch it back to the old icon, heres what to do.
browse to itunes in finder, right click and "get info" then then copy this picture (right click > copy image)

then on the get info screen, click on the icon on the top left, and press "cmd+v" and it will replace with the old, nice icon.
if you have it in your dock and you want the icon to update... to the old one... simply drag it out your dock, and then back in from your apps folder. or you can log in/out or restart.

Users of iTunes 10 are experiencing an issue where it crashes when they connect their iPhone 4 to their Mac, then click the Apps tab. Try these steps to fix it.
1. Launch iTunes while holding down the Option and Command keys. This will start iTunes in Safe Mode.
2. If iTunes works in Safe Mode, you may have installed a third party application that is causing it to crash. Uninstall any applications on your computer that work with iTunes.
If you can’t find anything, have a look in the following locations.
Warning: These steps may remove settings and data but shouldn’t delete your actual media files. Just be careful and have a backup.
Remove any third-party references under the /Library/QuickTime folders.
Delete any .plist files in the following locations:
* /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist
* /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
* /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
Now check to see if things are working correctly.
Anyone else having this problem and if so...how have they fixed the issue...The tips discussed in this article didn't work for me...

Is this issue Mac only or also happens with Windows iTunes 10?

I can confirm that Five Icon Dock and/or Five-Column SpringBoard also cause iTunes 10 to crash.

I think you're right. They are causing problems for most Mac users; along with Infinifolders/infinidock on iPhone4.
The bottom line... A few Jailbreak apps need updating for iTunes 10!
