Yes, it is finally here. iPhoDroid, the application that automates the installation of Android OS on iPhone, was finally released for Windows, and it works with both Windows 32bit and 64bit.
iPhoDroid only works with the iPhone 3G and it works the same as the Mac version. All you need to do is plug in your iPhone, run iPhoDroid and click on ‘Shoot!’. An automated process will begin, and a few minutes later you will have a dual-boot iPhone 3G running iPhone OS and Android OS 2.2 Froyo.

Nice news.

By the way what is the status of the power management, did they fixed that, because I read before that it drained the battery quickly as it didn't have a proper power management.

i noticed that running this works up until it needs to load the android kernel after the boot screen, which i assume isnt being installed with this utility. how would i go about doing that so i can actually get some use out of this?

What this shit doesn't work on the iphone 2g? That's bullshit, I've been waiting for nothing. I could have sworn I saw something about it being compatible with the 2g and 3g.

I swear half the people on here are high school dropouts. From what I've read, porting Froyo to the 2G and 3G was hard enough itself. To port to the 3GS, they'd basically have to start from scratch, and it's still a longer and more difficult port. They could and probably are working on it. The iPhone 4 is probably a beast itself, too. Also, for people asking questions like "will it work with 3GS...when's 3GS coming...etc etc", there is a search bar for xsellize. It is pretty nifty. Search "Android on iPhone" and do some reading. It's pretty effective.

This has nothing to do with it. The short answer is for this to work it needs a jailbreak that starts early in the boot chain like redsn0w or blackra1n both Jailbreakme and Spirit load after the kernel. Short of that happening you will not see it for any of the following devices: 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad and iTouch 3rd Gen

No need to further speculate
If I helped ya out, don't give me the verbal thanks hit the Posted Image (Thats bottom right for you newbies, it acts as appreciation)

Hello dudes;] I have some info for you;] It is working for me and its great!! I had to do some aditional work but i've succeed;] So you probably think how i made that, so I'll give you some hints. Ok lets start!

First: launch the iphodroid R13 and do everything what the program want ( connect the iphone and press shoot)
When the program will finish and the IP will reboot press twice the button on the top of the IP and hit Home Button. The Android will install but when it will finish iOS will boot up. Then open SSH or some programm so that you can go to VAR folder and you must create folder called firmware in VAR. When our folder is created copy those 3 files to FIRMWARE: sd8686.bin sd8686_helper.bin quadra3G.img3 <--- those files are in IphoDroid-->Resources. In next step you must copy 5 files directly to folder VAR. Those 5 files are in iPhoDroid->Resources->iPhoDroid_image. AND THATS ALL!!! Now disconect Iphone from your computer and when iBoot will turn up once again tap twice the button on the top of Iphone and hit Home Button. And now cheer with your ANDROID on Iphone;];]

lol I dropped out of high school, but went on to get a bachelors degree with a cumulative of 3.68. Any Rtard can graduate highschool. Some, for whatever reasons, choose not to. But im sure you already knew that :)

On Topic: anyone have any success with this? I have a 3g, but would like to avoid a restore if this is just some novelty bullshit.
