N8R i can recive phone calls and sms. I dont know whats with battery.

Oh! I have forgotten!! When you finish my instructions you may have problems with touch control on android, but there is a solution for you;] Download this folder http://www.sendspace.com/file/wr2c3q and unpack the rar file and copy all files which are in folder firmware to our Iphone to the folder which we created in my tutorial. So simply compy files from folder firmaware downloaded from my link and paste them to folder firmware on our Iphone ( Var-->firmware) and thats all;];]

When I first used iphoDroid the image files go in /var/private/mobile and that includes the kernel.

What is going on with their site? Where is the download on the site? Does R13h support the iphone 2g? The web site is so confusing there's no obvious spot to download from and the little ads I guess are the downloads, there not for windows. Then I go to the support forums and they closed all of the forums because of some copyright thing. So far this project is a failure in my eyes. The site sucks, the support sucks, and the lack of 2g support is ridiculous. At least he could put full descriptions of what the new version does right on the homepage. I guess 2g users are screwed until he feels like releasing it. I know its free and all but the retarded way he's going about releasing and the site just drive me crazy.

lol I dropped out of high school, but went on to get a bachelors degree with a cumulative of 3.68. Any Rtard can graduate highschool. Some, for whatever reasons, choose not to. But im sure you already knew that :)

On Topic: anyone have any success with this? I have a 3g, but would like to avoid a restore if this is just some novelty bullshit.

are you able to make/ recieve calls and texts on android? I guess its too soon to ask about battery life lol

Well sorry if I offended anyone, but using google isn't that difficult for some questions.

Was that supposed to be an attack on me? I was actually waitlisted at Brown and Northwestern but chose to attend UW-Madison. So I don't think I know much about dropping out of high school

Hello dudes;] I have some info for you;] It is working for me and its great!! I had to do some aditional work but i've succeed;] So you probably think how i made that, so I'll give you some hints. Ok lets start!

First: launch the iphodroid R13 and do everything what the program want ( connect the iphone and press shoot)
When the program will finish and the IP will reboot press twice the button on the top of the IP and hit Home Button. The Android will install but when it will finish iOS will boot up. Then open SSH or some programm so that you can go to VAR folder and you must create folder called firmware in VAR. When our folder is created copy those 3 files to FIRMWARE: sd8686.bin sd8686_helper.bin quadra3G.img3 <--- those files are in IphoDroid-->Resources. In next step you must copy 5 files directly to folder VAR. Those 5 files are in iPhoDroid->Resources->iPhoDroid_image. AND THATS ALL!!! Now disconect Iphone from your computer and when iBoot will turn up once again tap twice the button on the top of Iphone and hit Home Button. And now cheer with your ANDROID on Iphone;];]

it works for me dude thanks

For someone who has this working, how's the battery life? I'm trying to convince my roommate to do this but he has battery concerns.

no worries man. I understand that that's annoying. Just sayin that you might wanna rethink your assumption and use a different way to call ppl stupid. I know a few guys who are quite intelligent and dropped out. And I'm sure that you know a few ppl who are not so bright, but graduated. No big

Nice news.

By the way what is the status of the power management, did they fixed that, because I read before that it drained the battery quickly as it didn't have a proper power management.

This is also a question in my mind, why are people stressing themselves to install a OS with NO POWER MANAGEMENT ? what fun is it when your device has no power after 1hr? .i find the effort interesting, but untill they have 3GS support and the power issue solved i will stay away from this.

I've been checking their forums frequently, they say a 2g version is going to be released soon as R14 :)
