You have to use "ProCamera" or "almost DSLR" or other apps to select 640x480 video. It will not work with the stock camera app.
In the initial mod I made the stock app settings were changed too, but it is better to use another app to choose wideangle when you want and with the stock camera app you have always the stock settings.

I copied all 3 files and rebooted iphone 4. The wide angle does not seem to change in iphone video mode. iOS version I have is 4.3.1. Tried it several times and confirmed the file change in iphone. Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks,
Raum

Please I need help
I try to do on my IPhone 4 and I found the N92 in System/Library/Privateframeworks/mediatoolbox.framework/N92 in IOS 5 untethered jailbreak. So once I replace the mod AVCapture.plist to my original files, then I rebooted. Now when I record with the video, it does not work at all!
So please hopefully any of you guy fix this issues! Remember N90 is not in IOS 5 anymore. Now there just N92 only.

@fasoaga I have IPhone 4 Verizon 32gb with IOS 5.0.1
But I can't find any N90 folder
Can you reupload all the file you modified so I can try to replace my original files?

I found an easier way using iFile to edit the values. You go to the same file as suggested in this post and find the heading "Back Facing High Quality Video". Underneath that it is split into 2 sub headings "Capture" and "Preview". All you have to do is change the values under the capture heading, save it and respring the device.
It works fine on my IP4 with 5.01.
