Good for Enterprise - Jailbreak detection

I have been working on reversing Good for Enterprise as well. I saw that Clutch was recently updated to support Overdrive. Overdrive is designed to circumvent piracy detection methods, which may be similar to some of the checks (like the binary checksum validation) Good for Enterprise employs. I have been analyzing the disassembly but don't have any way to test any thing. ( I restored my phone and have to get with my IT administrator to get Good reactivated). So I am wondering if someone can try this:
Let's see if we can get this to work! Now my guess is that this will only alleviate the checksum check, so we still may need to patch the jailbreak check. But it looks like from others work, that has already been done.
- Add http://clutch.hackulo.us to your Cydia sources.
- Install Clutch. And OpenSSH if you don't already have it.
- SSH into your iOS device and run this from the command line:
clutch --overdrive "Good"
- This should package up an IPA file in /var/root/Documents/Cracked
- Install the IPA via Installuous or iTunes
Let's see if we can get this to work! Now my guess is that this will only alleviate the checksum check, so we still may need to patch the jailbreak check. But it looks like from others work, that has already been done.

Yup doesn't work.
It appeared to work in the beginning, but when you send or receive an email then the jailbreak error appears.
Any other ideas guys?

Looks like there is a new jailbreak app that blocks detection called xCon on Cydia does anyone know if it works.
Has anyone emailed this guy yet by any chance? Or tried out the app?

This may be a little "outside the box" but after reading this post you guys are all trying to hack a flag that can simply be turned off by a member of the IT team that has access to the server settings......
Anyone thought of reverse thinking this issue, buddy up to an IT guy at your company (we like coffee and chocolate bars) and ask him why the company uses this flag (in most cases we hate company policies) and then ask if he/she could turn it off (In most cases nobody would notice if the flag was turned off, its not like it changes anything else in the program)
P.S. - Remember, we (the IT guys in your company) like coffee and chocolate bars, or cheese doodles or hostess pies or ..... you get the idea

just install and you're good to go
xCon.deb
this project is free, but feel free to donate (or at the very least, remove my cracked tweaks from the repo)

So you were able to patch the Good app? Sorry for clarifying, but I have to request a new Pin ID from IT each time I want to reinstall the Good app for testing this out.
And to Mr IT Coffee and Chocolate Bar Man - I work for an international company with 140,000 employees. I assure you, someone would notice.

Hello togheter,
I haveanother question:
I have xCon and Good installed, I also have a valid code.
But when I try to setup good, the app always hungs at the point "starting services" (german device, I dont know how it is called in an us version).
Does anybody know how to fix it?

I can confirm that this is working with my UK Iphone 4 running IOS 5.0 jailbroken. I have XCon installed and then installed Good. I got the pin from IT (I am IT). At first it didn't pull down my emails but when I clicked new message and sent on they all came down! I can confirm this is working and Good hasn't detected the jailbreak!
