This kind of worked for me. I set up a random Udid for a new imobsters account and i copied that Udid. Once i got that started, i went to check my imobsters account, and it had someone elses name in it. So i tried to restore the Udid for that app, and it wouldn't save to that Udid. It keeps jumping to other udid's and i keep ending up with other peoples imobster accounts. Of which are just started, no accounts were well established in any way.
So this app works, but won't function right. Keep up the progress. Almost there!

no ipad version yet and this is a work in progress keep in mind i also manage UnlimTones and UnlimVideos and am a pre-med student, researcher in a biology lab, travel agent and insurance agent lol so i don't have much time on my hands but ill sneak updates in here and there

It did the same for me but after a reboot, I had the right icon.

@Eni : If you have time enough in your overbooked life, it would be nice to add apps we can chose as favorite, for example on top of the list.

Yep, did the cold reboot. Still the white icon.

What is the icon supposed to look like? Can you upload a screencap? I did not notice that the .deb require any dependencies. Is it possible I am missing dependencies that may be causing the missing graphics?

The Icon should look like this:


Try uninstalling the application and reinstalling it through the use of Cydia's AutoInstall feature. You can do that by SSHing the deb to /var/root/Library/Cydia/AutoInstall and rebooting.

Hmmm...

I tried installing 2.0-2.deb. It resprung by itself at the moment it was being installed. However, afterward, I can now see the icon. However, the fact that it resprung during -dpkg install (after SSH into the device) meant that the package actually crashed, so I am unsure if the install was totally successfully.

I then tried installed 2.0-5.deb. This was the previous version I used. The icon again was white. However, there was no spontaneous resprung like 2.0-2.

This showed that the problem is with 2.0-5.deb. However, 2.0-2 is missing an indicator to tell you which UDID has been faked, and I have read posts that 2.0-2 was not stable.

Which version are you using? What can you recommended that I should do now?

What I would suggest is to uninstall UDIDFaker, and make sure it has been completely removed by SSHing into your device and removing /Applications/UDIDFaker.app (If that folder is still there). Then do a reboot and install 2.0-5 from the repo above.

You are very good, my friend!

The deb from the previous link was corrupted. This new deb fixed the icon problem.

There are two odd bugs I noticed. First, after I input a faked UDID into an app, that same faked UDID will be listed other a few other apps which I had never faked UDID. Second, the faked UDID is not immediately updated in the main screen under each app; it is only after the app is reloaded that the faked UDID is listed under each faked app.

Are these bugs?

Hi Eni!

I think there is a bug in your app.

Explaination:

I use it to reset a 30 days free trial on an app.
I enter my mail adress in it and I can activate it for 30 days with the mail I receive.

I used to fake my UDID with the old udidfaker from Reilly and the plist trick in SCP.
I worked fine for me.

With your app, I put a random UDID, close it and start my app.
now the problems begin.
my app tell me that I can't use it because it isn't activated (I don't see it with Reilly's app)
And it sends a mail to me each time I launch the famous app.
For me, it seems like it uses a different UDID each time I launch it, so that I need to activate it while it's running.

What do you think it could come from?
Can it come from me and my way to use your app?
