Is there any possibility to send and receive SMS on my iPad 3G?
That would be great, because I could activate or deactivate my 3G Data Plan via a SMS to my carrier without removing the SIM to do this on my iPhone.
Thanks in advance!
Regards, Birke

Is it possible to receive normal SMS to my phone number for this SIM from my carrier, too?
My carrier sends me a SMS if I will exceed my data plan for example. It is a normal SIM.

I bought SwirlySMS for iPad and it works very fine!
It is possible to define the phone number with country ID for the SIM card and so every SMS to or from my iPad works with the normal SIM's number. Great!

There is free one Swirly 3G which can use your sim card to send and receive SMS , great one !
I use it to check my data balances and also subscribe when finished.
Check on Cydia , search Swirly and last item on the list is SWIRLY FREE 3G

I tried the free version before, but I hate Ads. I use it only to administrate my prepaid data plan via SMS, too.
